FHD − tradition and progress
In 1997, FH Diedrichs & Ludwig Post GmbH emerged from the association of the tradition-rich companies Ludwig Post (founded in 1871) and FH Diedrichs (founded in 1955). Thereby, FH Diedrichs & Ludwig Post GmbH looks back at a body of knowledge acquired in over 100 years.

For over 30 years, we have specialized in the import and the export of tapioca starch (manioc/cassava) and have expanded our business Europe-wide. Besides tapioca starch, which is offered in different quality levels, we are able to offer a range of products for the food, animal feed, pharmaceutical and the technical industries with focus on starches, amino acids, vegetable proteins, thickeners, extracts, sweetenings, food colouring and probiotics.

Our second product segment consists of fine chemicals such as colourants for the paper industry, as well as gypsum plaster retarders and protein hydrolysates that are used by the gypsum plaster and the fertilizer industries.

In 2006, we obtained a „BIO” certification, thus we are able to provide „BIO” certified products. Furthermore, we are officially registrated as a feed business operator since 2008 (directive (EG)-183/2005) and since 2019 we are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
